Faith is not meant to be lived passively. Get involved, serve your neighbours, and discover the joy of purposeful community.
Every person has gifts and talents that can serve the community around them. Here are some of the active volunteer roles we are always glad to fill.
Musicians, vocalists, and sound/media technicians are vital to our Sunday experience. Whether you play guitar, piano, drums, or sing, we would love to have you on the team. No professional experience required βonly a heart to serve.
Our Kids' Zone runs every Sunday and relies on caring volunteers to engage children ages 3β11. Volunteers assist with crafts, activities, teaching, and supervision. Background screening required for all volunteers working with children.
Help coordinate food drives, community meals, seniors' visitation, and neighbourhood programs that extend our care beyond the walls of the church into the broader Castlegar community.
First impressions matter. Our Welcome Team volunteers create a warm, genuine experience for every person who walks through our doors β new visitors and regular members alike. If you enjoy meeting people, this is for you.
Practical servants are the backbone of a healthy church. Help set up chairs, prepare the space for events, assist with Sunday logistics, or contribute to building maintenance and improvement projects.
If you have skills in administration, writing, social media, or graphic design, help us communicate our programs and events to the congregation and broader community more effectively.
Castlegar Christian Fellowship is deeply invested in the wellbeing of our city. We believe that faith expressed in action is the most powerful witness we can offer. Here are some of the ways we actively serve Castlegar:
Membership at Castlegar Christian Fellowship is an intentional commitment to this local community of faith β to grow together, serve together, and journey through life together.
Begin by attending Sunday services and connecting with our community. There is no pressure or timeline.
Arrange a meeting with one of our pastoral team members to ask questions and learn more about the fellowship.
Complete our short membership class, which covers our beliefs, values, and mission β then make your commitment official.
