Our History

A Legacy of Faith in Castlegar

Castlegar Christian Fellowship was established to answer a simple calling: to create a safe, loving, and spiritually nurturing space for the people of Castlegar and the surrounding Columbia River Valley. Over the years, our congregation has grown into a vibrant, multigenerational community united by a deep love for God and each other.

From our humble beginnings, we have expanded our ministry to include programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors. We have walked alongside families through seasons of joy and hardship, celebrating milestones and providing pastoral care when it is needed most.

Located at 620 Columbia Rd, right in the heart of Castlegar, BC, we have been a spiritual home and a community anchor — open, welcoming, and committed to serving our neighbours with grace and integrity.

Senior Pastor

Pastor James has served the Castlegar community for over 15 years, bringing a passion for expository preaching and pastoral care. He and his wife lead the congregation with warmth and integrity.

Pastor Rachel Simmons

Associate Pastor — Families & Youth

Pastor Rachel oversees our family and youth ministries, creating engaging, discipleship-focused programs that help young people build a lasting faith foundation.
